Wheat grain, hard, for sprouting (1kg)
  • Also called wheat berries. Unprocessed wheat has the bran, endosperm and germ intact.
  • Therefore it is a nutritious grain
  • Rich in vitamins ,minerals, chlorophyll and enzymes.
  • Helps to regenerate cells & detoxify the body.

Millet, hulled, yellow (500g)

  • Gluten- Free
  • An alkaline grain. It has dietary fibre, complex
  • carbohydrate,vitamins of B complex and minerals.
  • Cook 1 cup millet in 3 cups water for 20 mins.Use as a cereal, pudding add to rice or soup or cook as a porridge. Use as a rice substitute too.

Millet China (Non-glutinous) (500g)

  • Gluten free
  • An alkaline grain and non-glutinous. Soft and fluffy tecture.
  • It has dietary fibre and complex carbohydrate. Contains vitamins of B complex and minerals, low in fat and gluten and no cholesterol.
  • Add to rice or soup or cook as a porridge. A staple food, also known as Hsiao Mi in Northern China.
  • Cook 1 cup millet to 3 cups of water for 20 mins.

Oat groat (500g)

  • Rich in dietary fibre, high in calcium, iron, protein, Vit. B & E, mono & polyunsaturated fat.
  • Cook with rice or add soy milk to cook as porridge or add to soup.

Couscous (500g)

  • Made from durum wheat semolina.
  • Soak in boiling water for 15 mins. and drain. Serve with salads.
  • Also serve couscous  like rice .Simply add some oil and salt to flavour.

Maize meal (500g)

  • Produced by coarsely stonemilling the maize into a gritty textured meal.
  • Retains the protein rich germ. Commonly used for pancakes ,muffins, & cornbreads.

Popcorn (500g)

  • Gluten-Free
  • A source of complex carbohydrates and dietary fibre, vitamins A, B, C,
  • iron, and potassium. Add a handful of popcorn to a dry hot wok. Add a cube of butter and cover with lid. Shake wok  a few times until the pop sound stops. Drizzle some sugar or salt to taste. .Enjoy! An ideal alternative to high fat snacks.

Buckwheat ,hulled (500g)

  • Gluten-free and wheat-free.
  • Good source of protein and is especially high in the amino acid lysine. High in calcium, B-complex and E vitamins. It is a warming grain and good for cold days.
  • A good body-building food. Cook together with roce or porridge.
  • Buckwheat can be toasted to give it a nutty flavor. 1 cup buckwheat, 2 cups water, cook for 15-20 mins.

Rye Grain (500g)

  • Low in gluten
  • It has a rich and hearty taste. A source of fibre, essential amino acid and lysine.
  • Cook 1 cup rye grain in 2 ½  cup water and a pinch of sea salt. Bring to boil and simmer for 1 ½ hours. You may presoak rye grains overnight for a softer texture. Makes delicious soups, casseroles and cook with rice. Also for sprouting.

  • Minimum polishing of the barley grain and nutrient value is intact.
  • Good source of protein, vitamins, fibre and carbohydrates.
  • Add to soups, casserole, and serve as a drink.

  • Rich in amino acid lysine, phosphorus, calcium, iron, vit. E & B.
  • Quinoa an ancient grain. Delicious and easy to prepare. 2 cups water, 1 cup quinoa and a pinch of salt. Bring to boil & simmer for 15 – 20 mins. For a rich, nutty flavor, toast quinoa. Also use to boil with rice to make porridge.

  • Gluten Free.
  • Rich in amino acid lysine, phosphorus, calcium, iron, vit. E & B.

  • Low in Gluten
  • Rich in amino acid lysine, protein and high fibre with calcium & iron.
  • High in Vitamin C and A.
  • An ancient grain which has fibre & minerals. Suitable for flatbreads, soup, stews, and vegetables.
  • Toast seed and eat as snack.
  • Cook 1 cup of amaranth to 2 –3 cups water for 20 mins. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
